The Big Four – Venomous snake in Indian-Subcontinent

The big four snakes are most deadliest and venomous snake in Indian-subcontinent which are responsible for most human snake bite cases in Indian sub-continent (Mostly in India).

The Big four are :

1:  Indian cobra (Nag or Naja)

2: Common Krait (Bungarus caeruleus)

3: Russell’s viper (Daboia russelii)

4: Saw-scaled viper (Echis carinatus)
